Lane Assignments

  • Lane Allocation: Each team will be assigned to a lane.
  • Opponents: Your opponent team will be on the next lane.
  • Example: Team 1 will be on lane 9, Team 2 will be on lane 10. This allows for a more competitive experience.
  • Note: This is the same format as last year.

League Rules

  • Commitment: Once your organization or a team starts bowling, you are obligated to complete the league or complete full payment for the 8-week period.
  • Agreement: A signed agreement will be required for each team prior to the start of the league.
  • Payment Timing: Payments for the league should be made by week 1 of the league at the latest, unless you’ve informed the committee that your team will be paying weekly ahead of time.
  • Handicap Format: The league will be handicap based.
  • Handicap Definition: Handicap is an additional score added to allow a competitive advantage for all bowlers.
  • Starting Handicap: All bowlers will start with the same handicap, regardless of last year’s performance.
  • Handicap Formula:
    200 – average score × 80% = handicap
    E.g. 200 – 98 * 80% = 81.6 (82)
If the bowler bowls 125, the handicap (82) is added, making their total score for that game 206.6 (207).

Team Position & Scoring

  • Team Position: Determined by the team’s total pins, including their handicap.
  • Games per Night: Teams will bowl three games each night.
